The bi-annual D23 Expo has been one of the most popular and fan-friendly conventions in the world since it first started in 2009. It was created to give fans an inside look at the magic of Disney and exclusive first looks at upcoming attractions, films, and presentations celebrating arguably the most beloved and acclaimed entertainment studio of all time. We were lucky enough to be a part of this year's expo with the help of two of our most valued customers, expert builders Michael McMaster and Mike Senna.
Both of them have worked with us and used our linear actuators in the past in order to bring their ideas to life, McMaster with his R2-D2 and Wall-E robots and Senna with his Wall-E and Eve robots (they actually worked together on their Wall-E robots). This year, after trying in vain to get into the convention for years, they were able to secure their own booth at the expo showing off their Disney robots to the public. Their robots were such a huge success that Disney has already invited them back for the next expo as well as providing them with an even larger space for their creations due to the huge volume of people they had at their booth this year.
